The 4th Subject Rule

A unique feature of the HSC result process is the "GPA-2 Rule" for optional (4th) subjects. This allows students to boost their scores significantly.

The GPA-2 Deduction: In calculation, 2.0 points are subtracted from your 4th subject's grade point.
Failure Exception: Unlike SSC, if you fail the 4th subject in HSC, your overall GPA doesn't become 0.00. It's simply excluded.
